Manuel Acuña Kairath


Lawyer, graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 1966. He has practiced mainly in the areas of criminal law and litigation. Likewise, he has served as an arbitrator, having advised not only natural and legal persons, but also the State of Chile.

He has a diploma from the CPU University Promotion Center in 2000 on Criminal Procedure Reform, and a diploma in Criminal Procedure Reform from the Faculty of Law of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2003.

He is an active glider pilot and high seas captain, having been president of the drafting commission for reform of the Aeronautical Code, and founder and head of the Study since 1977, directing it with exclusive dedication to date.
